We are a community of believers dedicated to sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ with the Mixtec community living in Montgomery, Alabama and beyond.

What began as a calling to reach one of the most unreached people groups in the Americas has become a growing movement of transformed lives. The Mixtec community is discovering the hope, peace, and freedom that come only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our mission is simple to know Christ and make Him known among the Mixtec community, leading others from ancestral traditions into the joy of salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Somos una comunidad de creyentes dedicada a compartir el amor y la verdad de Jesucristo con el pueblo mixteco que vive en Montgomery, Alabama y más allá.

Lo que comenzó como un llamado para alcanzar a uno de los grupos menos evangelizados de las Américas se ha convertido en un movimiento creciente de vidas transformadas. El pueblo mixteco está descubriendo la esperanza, la paz y la libertad que solo vienen a través de una relación personal con Jesucristo.

Nuestra misión es simple: conocer a Cristo y darlo a conocer entre la comunidad mixteca, guiando a otros de las tradiciones ancestrales al gozo de la salvación y al poder del Espíritu Santo.

About Us

Our Story

In 2007, the International Mission Board identified the Mixtec community as the most unreached and unengaged people group in all of the Americas. Years later, local missionaries in Montgomery, Alabama, became aware of a growing Mixtec population in the area.

After prayer, outreach, and forming meaningful discipling relationships, Montgomery Mixtec Church was planted in 2017.

Since then, the Lord Jesus Christ has been faithfully revealing Himself to the Mixtec community drawing men, women, and families away from ancestral worship and cultural Catholicism, and into a living, personal relationship with their true Creator.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Mixtec people are finding real peace, true freedom, and lasting hope in Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

• To see the Mixtec community come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

• To disciple believers in God’s Word and help them grow in faith.

• To raise up Mixtec leaders who will share the gospel among their own people and beyond.
